"Most companies depend on sales professionals to drive revenues. Yet most systems are not focused on the needs of the sales individuals, but rather on information input and output. This leads to weak sales support and guidance, hence to lost sales performance."

This was my reflection after having worked with a number of CRM and "sales force automation" systems (btw, if sales forces could be automated - why do we still have sales forces?). This needs to be changed. Sales professionals and sales managers need a system designed for their needs.
