Go Beyond Exact Matches with Expanded Global Search

Sometimes you know what you’re looking for, but not exactly what it’s called.

With our latest Global Search update, you can now expand your search to similar matches when exact results are limited. It’s a simple new capability that helps you find the right prospect, account, or customer without hitting a dead end. 

No results found? Keep searching

When Global Search returns fewer than 10 results (or doesn’t find a top match) you’ll now see an “Expand to similar matches” option.

One click broadens the search to surface less-perfect but potentially relevant matches, helping you uncover what you need faster.

It’s particularly useful when you’re dealing with:

• A project, company name or contact you only partly remember
• Minor spelling differences or variations
• Accents or diacritics, especially in names from other languages
• Those days when your keyboard skills aren't up to scratch ;)

Keep momentum in your workflow

This update means fewer searches starting over, less guessing at the right spelling or wording, and more time getting on with the task at hand. And as soon as you edit your search, the expanded mode switches off automatically so you can start a fresh search.
