Membrain experienced issues that intermittently cuts off access to the product for some of our customers this morning CET. We are currently investigating what was the cause of this.
RESOLVED: The issues has been fully resolved and Membrain is now completely accessible. As soon as possible, our ambition is within the next 24 hours, we will send out a comprehensive report on this incident.
This will include root cause analysis, our immediate actions taken and preventive measures that we will implement. At Membrain we take great pride in providing reliable and efficient services and in this case, we have fallen short of the expectations we place upon ourselves, and that you should rightly place on us as a customer. We want to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, frustration and disruption this may have caused.
We understand that trust is earned, and we are fully committed to regaining yours and returning to the reliable service we have been known for over the years. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these challenges.
UPDATE 3 (12:52 CET): We believe the issue has been identified, and that our servers are starting to gradually return online. It may take some time for all to be fully operational, but we are seeing progress on restoring access to Membrain. More information will be posted here as it develops.
UPDATE 2 (11:37 CET): We are still unable to offer an estimated timeline on getting the affected servers fully back up and available. The issue has been identified as a network related issue and affecting more sites and services than Membrain. We have all hands on deck trying to restore service and our team is available to respond to queries on this on-going issue. We will keep updating this page with any additional information as we learn more, and are doing everything we can to solve this as quickly as possible.
UPDATE 1 (10:36 CET): We don't yet have a complete picture of the issue, and our team is continuing to investigate. The disruption is due to our EU-based hosting provider experiencing networking issues and is affecting our servers in that region. Naturally it is our main and only priority at this time to restore access to our affected customers. We hope that the issue will be resolved soon.
