In our pursuit of providing you with the best user experience, we've revamped the Process Settings UI. This facelift ensures a cleaner, more intuitive interface, allowing you to navigate effortlessly and find what you need swiftly. Rules & Events are now readily available in the toolbar, eliminating the need for tedious scrolling to the bottom of the page. We believe this enhancement will simplify keeping your processes in top-notch condition.

Empowering Informed Decisions with Win/Archive Conditions

Within this streamlined interface, you can now set requirements for when a prospect, sales project, or account growth project can be qualified, disqualified, won, or archived. This powerful addition enhances the quality of deal information, shedding light on the ones that didn't reach the finish line. It equips you to learn from these instances and ensures all necessary information is in place.

Streamlining Internal Handovers

This new feature significantly elevates internal handovers within your teams. For example:

  • Ensure all the qualifiers are fully in place when handing over from a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to an Account Executive.
  • Streamline and improve the quality of handover from Sales to Operations or Finance as key details would now always be completely in place.
  • When Sales need to hand a prospect back to Marketing, add pieces of information that help pass key information over to tailor any nurturing and messaging going forward.

Enhancing Win/Loss Insights

Moreover, correctly used it can deeply impact your win/loss data by providing better, more insightful information to fuel the analytics within that view. We believe this will not only streamline your processes but also empower your teams to make data-driven decisions.

Streamlining Conversations

In the realm of complex sales, communication is everything. That's why we're excited a small but really great little feature - the ability to leave and join any comment thread in Membrain. This helps reduces noise in today's busy technology landscape and ensures that you're always in the loop of important conversations. No more sifting through endless messages; now, you have the power to focus on what matters.

Task Privacy at Your Fingertips

Transparency is great. It creates a culture of accountability and fosters collaboration. Sometimes though, you may have something that you just don't want to share with your team or colleagues, or only to select people. Membrain now lets you mark tasks as private, providing a secure space where sensitive data is shared only with the right individuals. It's a simple yet effective way to safeguard critical information and maintain control over who accesses it. Just right-click on a task and switch it to "private". 🔐

Customizable "Key" starting numbers

In today's collaborative landscape, alignment with other teams is crucial. With Membrain's latest update, you can now change the starting number for Membrain's "project keys." This enhancement helps facilitate seamless coordination with other teams, making it easier than ever to align with the numbers you use or need as a starting point for various projects.

Our latest automation upgrades are a part of our continuous effort to streamline your workflow and enhance your precision, while still encouraging and simplifying infusing that personal touch into every interaction. 

More timing choices - great for nurturing sequences

Our automation capabilities now bring a new level of timing precision to your sales processes. You can configure automations to wait until specific weekdays, enabling nurturing sequences and tasks that require specific timing, either on business days or within a designated week cadence.

This allows you, for example, to craft a nurturing journey that resonates with your prospects' weekly rhythm or schedule follow-ups that hit the mark exactly when they matter most. Avoid emailing them on a weekend, unless that's exactly what you want to do!

This enhanced timing empowers you to build automation flows that are both strategic and thoughtful.

Timezone support in contact-based automations

TImezones are tricky. However, in contact-based automations, you can now lean on the timezone of the recipient contact to trigger in their own local time. You no longer have to worry about your carefully crafted messages arriving at inconvenient hours. This makes it easier to create automations that support larger territories, or well... the whole globe.

Seamless Data Flow with Webhooks

The integration of your essential tools has never been smoother. Our automation capabilities now embrace webhooks, allowing for seamless information exchange from Membrain to other tools. This functionality enables a harmonious data flow that enhances your teams' decision-making process.

Whether it's tracking sales milestones or staying updated on crucial prospect interactions, our enhanced automation capabilities facilitate streamlined data synchronization, ensuring you're always informed.

4 big updates to Membrain to set you up for the summer

Summer is here and we want to send you off to the beach with some really good vibes! And what better way to set you up for success than with some big updates to Membrain? Let's dive into this release!

#1 Improved Automation capabilities

A quite round robin.Now you can play matchmaker with your prospects and salespeople! Set up round-robin assignments based on individuals, teams, and mix and match to your hearts delight to get that perfect fit.

Round-robin assignments ensures each new lead (in this example) is assigned to a different person until everyone has been assigned the same amount and the starts over.

Plus, you know have the power to have Prospects, Sales Projects and Account Growth Projects move between different processes, stages and steps using automation. This allows for some really creative setups! For example, how about:

  • Moving that prospect to a specific step in your nurturing process when they engage your website or marketing content?
  • Push a sales project back a stage when something "Bad" happens in a deal?
  • Managing subscriptions or contracts using Account Growth? Move a customer to a specific step to initiate a save playbook if they show signs of not wanting to renew.

And don't worry about getting lost! The new zoom function has got your back and makes navigating complex automations a breeze.

Webhooks makes it easier to integrate Membrain other tools you use

#2 Webhooked on a feeling

We've made it easier than ever to integrate Membrain into other tools that your organization is using. With webhooks, you can send pushes with key information to other tools (like your ERP for example!) at any point in your sales process using process events. A new Prospect is created? A Sales Project has moved to the final stage stage or has been won? Something critical happened in that big Account Growth Project? All of these things and more can now more easily than ever be pushed to other tools to ensure your team is always on top of their game!

#3 Big boost to "Influence & Attitude" in Membrain

Use influence & attitude in completely new and mind-blowing ways! Few things are as important in sales as understanding the influence and attitude of the decision team on the buyer's side. Now you can use those findings to trigger guiding playbooks, visualize deals that might be in trouble and use them to improve your forecasts! #4 Milestones in Sales Projects & Account Growth

Milestone steps are a fantastic way to make sure that key parts of your process always stand out and remain relevant to your team. These steps are now available in both sales projects and account growth projects, allowing you to hide any unnecessary steps that you didn't have to take to reach that milestone. And when you do reach a milestone, take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate your achievement. Milestones are an excellent way to make your process really shine!

Bonus update: Pipeline Replay!

Grab a freshly cup of coffee and click play; watch as the changes to your pipeline the last 90 days unfold on your screen in an animated replay.

This is a little sneak preview of a whole new way to see how your sales pipeline has developed over time. Click the three dots top-right of the Active Pipeline and click "Pipeline History" to see your pipeline the last 90 days come to life; highlighting new, won and archived deals as well as key events such as red flags, value and closing date changes.

A great way to get a whole new feeling for what's happening in your pipeline!

New Graph Types: Pie, Bubble and Tree Map

We're excited to announce 3 new graph types for Dashboards and Account Growth, giving you even more visual insights into your data.

While it's important to capture data in a structured way, viewing this data as information alone won't provide you or your team with much value or understanding. But when that data is transformed into graphs in Membrain, you can gain more understanding, knowledge, and even a new perspective that helps you drive decision-making and improve outcomes.

Let's take a look at these latest graphs options, and some ways they can be used: 


Pie Charts

Pie Charts offer a great way to simplify complex data in a visually digestible format. A perfect option for showing proportions such as industry, market share or highlighting key contributors. A nice touch here is the clarity of Value AND % at a glance. 

 

 

Treemaps

Treemaps provide a clear representation of proportions within a hierarchical structure. In this example, the size of each rectangle corresponds to the relative magnitude of Sales won in each Team AND by whom. Larger rectangles indicate higher sales volume, while smaller rectangles represent lower sales.

 

 

Bubble Charts (Preview Mode)Age vs Customer Fit

Bubble charts are a great way to identify patterns, clusters, and trends in your Sales data. The use of bubbles with varying sizes and positions allows for quick and easy interpretation of the information. Here, we see the Value of each Account, in relation to the length of time they have been a customer (height), with an increasing Customer Fit Score as the 3rd metric(width).

We understand how crucial it is to stay focused and maintain momentum throughout a project's lifecycle. So we've added progress visualization for Sales Project steps to highlight all the smaller accomplishments along the way and keep you progressing to the end goal.

You may have already enjoyed this feature in our Prospecting and Account Growth Modules. These little green, mini progress bars are so popular that we thought we'd make them available for Sales Projects too! So now, you and your team can see all those small wins and move through your Sales Projects with an increased sense of achievement at every step.

Give Fine Grained Control to Your Content With Per Item Access in The Content Hub

For those of you who are not yet familiar with Membrains Content Hub, it is a central location for all sales-related content, like case studies, marketing videos, templates, call scripts, white papers, and much more. What makes The Content Hub so powerful is that it suggests collateral intelligently and serves it up exactly when your salespeople can use it most effectively, based on where they are in the sales process.

This latest update takes access to the next level by allowing granular control of individual content items within The Content Hub. With per-item permissions, you can decide who has edit and view access to what, giving you more control and ensuring only relevant content is served up to your team.

This level of control is extremely useful in a variety of situations where you want to restrict or allow access to certain content, for example:

  • manage content in different languages, only showing relevant pieces to individuals or whole teams
  • restrict access to sensitive or confidential content

One of our most requested features at Membrain has been Product Goals, and it's no surprise. The ability to track how sales of a particular product are performing against your business goals is essential for measuring success.

This brand-new feature allows you to create goals for single or multiple products, and track how the sales team is performing against these goals on an individual, team-based or company-wide level. Armed with that information, you can build powerful Dashboard Graphs to track and forecast performance, giving you the insights you need to coach your team or adjust your sales strategy accordingly, to ensure that you are meeting your individual product's sales targets.
