Keep Membrain forms organized internally with new customization

Update on May 2, 2022

Now that we have rolled out Membrain Forms, our excited users have requested a feature to keep the administrative side of it under control.

You can now add a custom headline that is different from the name of the form. This feature allows you to name the form in a structured way yet still have a compelling header that will appear to the customer.

This is important as you create more and more forms that begin to pile up in your overview list with meaningless names. You will soon get to the point where you lose control of which form is which in the overview list.

Now let’s be clear. A headline is what your customer sees. A name is what you see in Membrain.

Before this capability, whatever you wanted the customer to see simply became the name of the form. So, if you had a survey form with a header “What was your implementation like”, it would also get saved within Membrain with that name.

Imagine the search nightmare when navigating through previously created and saved forms within Membrain. How are you going to know if the form was for marketing or sales or customer success with obscure titles like “Evaluation Form” or “Event Registration”?

Our marketing manager recently created a form named "SaaSiest - Ball Wall Contest" with the headline as "Register your achievement" to log competitors for a contest we had at a recent event.

Without this distinction in naming the form it would've been very confusing to figure out what "Register your achievement" was used for.

Another update to Membrain Forms are Text Blocks. You can add a paragraph of text before the questions start in the form to help describe what the form is about and why you should fill it out.

Additional Life Saving Updates to Membrain Forms -

  • Archiving
  • Copying forms

Before Membrain Forms, you likely saved your forms in a marketing tool that required you to set up an integration or manually copy and paste the form fields into excel. One of our goals at Membrain is to reduce complexity for our users and Membrain Forms makes it easier to execute your sales process by automatically creating prospects when someone fills out a form on your website.

If you’re ready to reduce confusion and gain more control head on over to our help center to read up on Membrain Forms here.

Or reach out to support@membrain.com and we'll be happy to walk you through it.
