Sales strategies evolve. So should the tools that support them. We’ve introduced a much-needed enhancement to how you manage Won and Archive reasons in Membrain—you can now archive outdated reasons without losing historical data.

 

What's New?

Previously, the only way to remove an old reason was to delete or merge it—risking the loss of valuable insights. Now, you can simply archive reasons that are no longer relevant.
  • Archived reasons are hidden from dropdowns and selection menus
  • All historical data remains intact and accessible in reports
  • No need to compromise between data cleanliness and data integrity

This update gives you the flexibility to optimize your strategy over time while keeping your system clean and relevant. It also ensures:

Done the "Write Way": Rich Text Editing Just Got an Upgrade

That’s why we’ve improved the rich text editing experience across Membrain, removing clutter, standardizing formatting, and introducing smarter shortcuts. Whether you’re writing in a Coaching Plan or adding detail to a dashboard, you’ll now enjoy a streamlined, modern, and intuitive editor designed to keep your message sharp and your image professional.

What's Changed?

  • Simplified the font, size and color options
  • Standardized formatting to allow only clean, consistent styles (h1–h3, bullets, separators)
  • New keyboard shortcuts:
    • Tab and Shift+Tab for indentation
    • * + space to start a bullet list
    • --- + space to insert a separator
  • Smarter context menus to remove separators and info panels in one click
These changes (mostly) apply to:
  • Rich Text Custom Fields
  • Coaching Activities & Plans
  • Dashboard Text Components
But you'll find little improvements throughout Membrain.

Everyday Workflow Just Got Smoother: Smarter Activity Filters, Recurring Meetings & More

Schedule Recurring Appointments—Right From the Start

Set a meeting to repeat daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly directly at creation, just like you would for a coaching activity in Elevate.

Smarter Filters = Better Focus

Three new filters make it faster to find exactly what you need:
  • Location Filter: Quickly refine your activity list or scope down graphs to see appointments by location, really handy to differentiate between on-site meetings and virtual ones, for example.
  • Subject Filter: Search across emails, calls, appointments, tasks, and notes by Subject. Find the right conversation or follow-up instantly.
  • Ticket Filter: Need to track progress on customer issues? You can now filter activities based on related Tickets, making it easier to stay aligned and informed across sales and support touchpoints.

Faster Follow-Ups After Calls

Directly from the call interface, you can now instantly create a Task or send an Email. Just click the dropdown next to “Create” and keep your momentum going—without breaking flow.

Create Follow-Ups With Fewer Clicks

Need to schedule a follow-up to an existing appointment? It’s now just a click away via the three-dot context menu or by right-clicking on a meeting, the new appointment automatically inherits the right context and people.

One-Click Call Buttons Next to Meeting Participants

If a participant has a phone number, you’ll now see a Call button right next to their name in the activity dialog. One click opens the Call dialog, pre-filled with the participant and the most relevant project or process.

On the Zapier Integration page, you’ll now see a prominent “Add Zap” button. Click it, and a sleek iframe dialog appears—right on top of your current page—letting you create new Zaps without ever leaving Membrain. Inside this dialog, you’ll find:
  • A guided setup with real-time feedback and support
  • A smoother, faster experience for building automations
  • No more context-switching between platforms

Upcoming Fortnox Integration for ERP Efficiency

The Fortnox integration is now available as a preview, providing an early look at how it connects Membrain with your accounting system into Membrain, making it easier to connect sales and accounting operations.

Customizable Win, Archive, and Disqualify Reasons in Process Settings

We’ve introduced a new way to manage Win, Archive, and Disqualify Reasons in Process Settings. This update gives you greater control over how your team categorizes sales outcomes.

What’s New?

  • Customize Outcome Reasons – Define specific reasons for each Sales or Prospecting Process.
  • Updated Outcome Tab – A cleaner layout for better usability.
  • More Accurate Reporting – Keep only relevant reasons in your data.

How It Works

1. Go to Process Settings for a Sales or Prospecting Process.
2. Under the Outcome tab, select:
  • Allowed Win Reasons and Allowed Archive Reasons for Sales Projects.
  • Allowed Disqualify Reasons for Prospects.

3. By default, all reasons are available. Selecting specific reasons ensures better data tracking.

This update helps sales teams maintain structured and relevant sales data, improving decision-making and reporting.

Managing your sales processes just got easier. We’ve introduced key enhancements to Process Events, giving your team more automation and control over workflows. These updates ensure that processes are executed seamlessly, keeping prospecting, sales, and account growth initiatives aligned and effective.

What’s New?

Set Process, Stage, and Step from Process Events

You can now assign a process, stage, and step to a project directly from an event, making it easier to ensure that the right workflow is followed at the right time.

  • Select the process, stage, and step while setting up or editing an event.
  • The default process is automatically selected for efficiency.
  • Available for most events, ensuring that transitions between process stages are structured and clear.

This makes executing processes more streamlined and automated, ensuring sales teams follow best practices without extra manual work.

Add Internal Stakeholders from Process Events

Managing stakeholders within a process is now more flexible. You can now add internal stakeholders directly from Process Events, just like in Automations.

  • Assign internal stakeholders to key process events to enhance collaboration.
  • Helps keep all relevant team members informed and engaged in the right stages of a project.

Set Status from Process Events

You can now update a project’s status directly from Process Events, just like in Automations.

We’re making Zapier even more powerful with new updates that give you greater control over your sales data and automation workflows. These enhancements ensure smoother data synchronization, better tracking of prospects, and new triggers to streamline your processes.

What’s New?

1. Create New Prospects Even if One Already Exists

You can now create a new Prospect in Zapier, even if one already exists for a specific Company in a specific Process.

  • We’ve added the “Create Only If” options found in Process Events to Zapier.
  • This gives you more flexibility to track multiple prospects without missing sales opportunities.

2. Add and Update the Country Field for Companies

Keeping company data consistent across platforms is now easier with support for the Country field in Zapier.

  • You can now add or update a Company’s Country field through Zapier.
  • The Country name must match Membrain’s predefined list to work properly.
  • Zapier provides tools to adjust data formatting if needed.

3. New Triggers for Company and Contact Creation

We’re introducing new triggers in Zapier that automatically fire when a new Company or Contact is created in Membrain.

  • Use these triggers to automate follow-ups, update external systems, or start workflows when new records are added.
  • This saves time and ensures that key actions happen instantly without manual input.
