This update introduces a series of small but powerful enhancements across Membrain to help your team work smarter and stay focused on the right opportunities.
"People do buy from people" - Improvements to Contacts
- Make Default Contact Fields Required
You can now make default contact fields (like Email, Position, Phone) required when creating a contact on both Desktop and Membrain Go. - Hide Additional Contact Fields in Creation Dialog
Admins can now hide the Title, Phone, and Mobile Phone fields in the contact creation dialog while still allowing enrichment suggestions. -
“Left Company” Option in Org ChartQuickly mark a contact as having left the company directly from the organizational chart’s menu.
- Local Time in Contact Preview
See a contact’s local time at a glance in the preview dialog by hovering over any contact's name, with visual indicators for working hours. - Set or Clear Contact Titles in Automations
Automations can now update or clear the Title field for contacts, helping keep job role data accurate for targeted outreach and better lead prioritization.
Search Updates and Improvements
Global and Related Search now prioritize more intuitively. Perfect matches to what you search for comes first, then “starts with” matches, followed by “contains” matches for projects, companies, and contacts. You can also search for messages in the Sales Inbox by sender’s email address on both Desktop and Go. This helps find emails not just from "Steve", but from "steve@customer.com" just as easily. Very handy in some cases!
Weekly Goals Now Count Weekdays Only
Weekly Goals now spread evenly across Monday–Friday, making progress tracking more intuitive for activity-based targets.
Manually Save Emails from Sent Folder
Sales Inbox now includes an Import Other Email button, letting you save emails sent from Outlook or Gmail to Membrain even after sending. Great to be able to go back and save that one key email you missed saving at the time of sending.
Open & Click Counts in Sent Mail
Sent Mail now shows how many times an email has been opened or clicked, with distinct status labels for quick reference. Being able to easily see who has opened and clicked multiple times on emails you've recently sent is key to spot a highly engaged stakeholder.
Activity Subject in Process Step Tools
Activity tools in Process Steps now display the activity subject before the open/clear actions for easier scanning. Seeing things like the activity for appointments, subject line for emails instantly helps track key activities connected to your process steps.
New Filters for Owner or Contact
Filter Prospect, a Sales project, or an Account growth, and Tickets by Owner or Contact for faster targeting. Very helpful to see all the deals and projects you're working on at the same time, not just the ones you're the Owner of.
