8 Reasons to Be Excited about Our New Free Trial of Active Pipeline Management

    New Call-to-action

If you’ve been paying attention, you may have noticed that we’ve been gradually rolling out free trials on all of our modules. A few weeks ago, we made the account growth module free for a limited time. Then we announced the prospecting module free trial was also available. And now, finally, the main event: We have made our core workflow, the active pipeline module, available to try for free.

Here’s why we’re excited about it - and why we think you should be too.

    1. It’s easy to create - and reinforce - a consistent sales workflow

Most sales strategies turn into dusty books on a shelf. Without consistent reinforcement and reminders, new habits quickly become failed approaches simply due to the very human difficulty of making change stick.

Within Membrain’s pipeline workflow, it’s simple to reinforce your approach. Without utilizing expensive technical development resources, you can easily lay out a straightforward strategic sales process, complete with stages, milestones, and steps. This makes “your way of selling” come to life by guiding, tracking progress, and recording critical information way beyond contact info and activities.

This helps you get everyone rowing in the same direction, and means that leaders can easily see where projects are and how healthy their progress is.

    2. It places enablement content right in the hands of salespeople, right when they need it

Our tool is built for enablement from the ground up, in a holistic way. That means it’s also simple and straightforward to place enablement content into the system and then have the software deliver it in context exactly when salespeople need it.

Because Membrain tracks where each sales project is in the pipeline, it can deliver case studies, brochures, cut sheets, white papers, and more at the precise moment in the process that the salesperson needs it.

Then they can track engagement on content, see what’s working, and adjust their approach as necessary.

    3. Makes sales training stick

Just like Membrain serves up the right content to share with the right people, at the right time, we embed the training content needed for your salespeople to improve, right where it’s needed: in their daily workflows.

Leave the world of legacy CRMs and Frankenstacks and join the Membrain family :)

We believe that genuine learning is not event that happens in a classroom but with daily practice. The classic problem with sales training is that it often ends after the training sessions and then lives in a learning management system (LMS) “on the side” that is forgotten as quickly as the sessions without daily reinforcements.

Making your training content come to life within Membrain will start driving actual behavioral change and convert theory to practice.

    4. Checklists put routine tasks on autopilot

We’ve all been guilty of skipping an essential step simply because we got busy and forgot. Checklists embedded into Membrain’s pipeline workflow prevent this from happening by reminding salespeople and preventing them from moving forward before they complete all items.

This helps prevent common mistakes like jumping too soon to presentation or failing to speak to all the relevant stakeholders. Just by eliminating simple mistakes like these, your win rates can increase massively!

    5. It’s easy to assign steps and ensure clean hand-offs among the team

In complex b2b sales, smooth handoffs among team members are key. Within Membrain’s pipeline workflow, it’s easy to assign tasks to members of the sales team, ops team, marketing, team, and others within the organization, and to track their completion.

When a task is assigned, the person receives a notification. When they complete the task, it’s updated within the workflow, ensuring the primary salesperson can move forward to the next steps.

    6. It’s easy to track progress and understand probabilities

Membrain’s pipeline workflow makes the old way of weighting sales probabilities obsolete. No more guesswork.

Probabilities can be assigned based on real-time relevant criteria including what steps and milestones have been completed, what content has been consumed, what competitors are involved, and whether the relevant stakeholders have been engaged.

This new way of tracking probabilities provides a clearer and more accurate picture of the pipeline, and makes forecasting easier and more accurate.

    7. You can finally map the WHY in a meaningful way

We all know why we want the buyer to buy. But do you know WHY the buyer wants to buy? I can guarantee it’s not because you have a lot of fancy features.

Furthermore, I can guarantee that each stakeholder on the buying team has a different why. Some are trying to make their day to day jobs easier. Some are trying to fix a problem they’ve been wrestling with a long time. Some just want to look good to the boss. And others are looking to significantly improve their or their company’s performance.

Membrain makes it easy to track not only WHO the primary stakeholders are - but also WHY each one is engaged. With this at the salesperson’s fingertips, they’re prepared to approach each stakeholder with the right messaging and nuggets to gain and hold their attention.

    8. You’ll notice right away when a project is stuck

Some projects get lost not because they couldn’t be won, but because they got stuck somewhere and nobody noticed in time to fix it.

With Membrain’s pipeline workflow module, it’s easy to see not only where each project is in the process, but also which ones have hit obstacles or bottlenecks. Membrain can track this automatically based on criteria you set up, including time, missing checklist items, or collected information.

You can receive notifications so that you can get on top of the project right away, or, when necessary, disqualify it from the pipeline so that it goes away and no longer skews your data or sucks up your salesperson’s time.

Take Membrain for a test ride

I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished here at Membrain.
