Membrain Billing - Explained

The aim of this article is to explain how your company is charged for your Membrain account.

How costs are calculated

Membrain’s licensing model is incredibly flexible so you can optimize your use of Membrain based on your team’s unique needs.

Your monthly or annual invoice (determined in your agreement), is based on the number of licenses you have purchased and allocated to your users together with the platform upgrades for your organization.

Below are the products you can purchase licenses for.

Implementation and Onboarding

Our Clearpath Promise removes the usual hazards - ballooning costs, poor user adoption, and endlessly extended timelines. Billing options available

Payments can be made either by bank transfer or by credit card. This is decided when stepping on board and is part of your agreement.

Frequency

Monthly - Payments are made 1 month in advance. If you choose to pay on a monthly basis, a 20% increase is added to the total cost each month. This is charged either to your credit card on the 1st working day of the month, or invoiced in advance with a 20-day payment period.

Annually - If you choose to pay annually, your first payment will be based on the estimated usage during that year. This is calculated based on the agreement details.

Payment Method

Credit Card - Only for amounts below 10,000 USD, 10,000 EUR or 100,000 SEK. Details are added to your Membrain account and charged automatically.

Invoice - We accept wire transfer via your bank. Membrain does not accept cheques.

Keep in Mind

  • You can have as many licenses as you like, added licenses are chargeable. Read more on how to add and remove users in this article User Management.
  • It is the Membrain Administrator's responsibility to add users or remove users in your Membrain account to stay in control of your costs.
  • Removing licenses below the minimum monthly commitment (defined in your agreement) does not change your minimum monthly cost.
  • Costs are calculated on a daily basis and drawn down monthly, from a prepaid amount.
  • Usage can be seen in both the Manage users list view and in the Account Details page in Membrain. For a detailed log of activities, you can navigate to the Account Details page > Licenses graph > Show users log button in the top right corner.
