Coaching Activities and Tasks

At the core of Membrain Elevate are the coaching activities, designed to enhance team performance and personal development through effective coaching. This vital component allows leaders, mentors, and coaches to engage deeply with their teams, fostering growth and excellence.

Coaching Activities

  • Coaching Sessions: These are traditional one-on-one sessions where a coach and a Coachee focus on specific improvement areas. For instance, a coach might work with a Coachee on enhancing their stakeholder mobilization skills. Coaching sessions can also be arranged team-wise, as group sessions. These sessions can incorporate materials from the Content Hub and can be held via platforms like Slack or Zoom, or even in person at locations like an office or coffee shop.
  • Coaching Note: Coaches and Coachees have the capability to add notes to record reflections and preparations ahead of or after a coaching session. These notes are viewable only by the Coachee and their Coach.
  • Journal Entry: Coachees can utilize journal entries to document personal insights and progress, further enriching the coaching experience. Journal entries are viewable only by the Coachee and their Coach. Learn more here.
  • Coaching Plan: Coaches and Coachees can create Coaching Plans, that will be viewable only by them. Learn more here.

Contents of a Coaching Session

  1. Coaching Skill: A coaching session is related to a specific area of focus relevant to the participant(s)' growth and objectives.
  2. Notes: Within each coaching session, notes can be taken to record agreements, insights, and learning points. This documentation is crucial for tracking progress and ensuring that both the coach and the coachee have a clear understanding of discussed topics.
  3. Related: Coaching sessions can be linked to various elements within the Membrain ecosystem. For instance, specific deals or opportunities in the pipeline can be discussed and connected to the coaching activity, providing a practical context to the coaching discussion using the add related button.
  4. Tasks: To foster accountability, tasks can be created and assigned during or after coaching sessions. These tasks are associated with specific deadlines and objectives, helping the Coachee stay on track with their development goals.

Note: In more complex coaching setups—where multiple coaches or external resources may be involved— coachees can select or change the coach during or after a session’s creation, offering flexibility for larger organizations with multi-tier leadership by clicking on the coaches profile picture.
