Taking a Skill Assessment

Follow our step-by-step Guide on how to take a skill assessment in Membrain Elevate.

  1. Access the Elevate Page: Navigate to the user's Elevate page. Ensure you are on the "Skills & Behaviors" tab, where both role and custom assessments are listed.

  2. View Available Assessments: Under the Role Assessment section, custom assessments for Coaches and Coachees will be displayed.

  3. Take the Assessment: For a Coachee to take an assessment, click on the "I want to do the Assessment" button. This initiates the assessment process.

Note: While taking the assessment, you can view a description of each skill and skill category, by clicking on the icon next to it.
  4. Edit or Retake the Assessment: Once an assessment is taken, it can be edited within a 7-day period. This allows for adjustments based on new information or reconsiderations. After the 7-day window, the assessment can be retaken, maintaining a cycle of continuous improvement.

View Assessment Results

After the assessment is completed, the results will be displayed on the same page. This includes detailed scores for each skill evaluated, providing valuable insights for both the Coach and Coachee.

OMG Integration

The Objective Management Group (OMG) integration in Membrain Elevate adds another layer of comprehensive assessment, specifically tailored for sales roles. These assessments include evaluations for both Salespersons and Sales Managers, and they can be accessed and viewed directly on the Elevate page.

To determine the specific assessment type accurately, new data is required. If this new data is not available, the system defaults to displaying the old Salesperson assessment. This ensures continuity and allows users to complete necessary evaluations without interruption.

Conclusion

Taking skill assessments in Membrain Elevate is a streamlined process designed to enhance the accuracy and relevance of skill evaluations. By following these steps, users can effectively take, edit, and review custom assessments, ensuring that both Coaches and Coachees receive the feedback necessary for continuous development. This structured approach to assessments fosters a culture of ongoing learning and targeted improvement within the organization.
