Browser settings required for using Membrain in SalesForce

Your browser settings may affect the ability of Membrain to function inside SalesForce. To ensure proper functionality please follow the instructions below.

Cookie Settings

Cookies are files created by websites you visit. They make your online experience easier by saving browsing information. With cookies, sites can keep you signed in and remember your site preferences.

3rd party cookies are required in order for Membrain to function properly in Salesforce. Follow the instructions below to ensure they are enabled.

Chrome on PC or Mac

From the menu in the top right corner select:

  1. Settings, Advanced, Privacy & Security, Site Settings, Cookies
  2. Ensure "Block third-party cookies" is disabled

Browser Add-Ons / Extensions

Various browser add-ons / extensions may interact with and block the setting of cookies which will make it impossible to log in to Membrain from within SalesForce. If login fails after adjusting your settings as described for your browser, please test disabling any Add-Ons / Extensions you may have to see if that resolves the issue.

Firewall / Anti-Virus Software

Some Firewall and Anti-Virus software may also interact with and block the setting of cookies. If you have a custom Firewall or AV software installed on your machine, please verify in the settings that cookies are allowed for *.membrain.com.
