Personalizations in Membrain

Personalizations in Membrain are powerful tools that enhance your customer interactions by automatically adapting your content to fit your recipient's unique information. From specific product details to stakeholder's roles and properties, personalizations bring a tailored touch to your sales and marketing communication. In this article, we'll delve into the functionality of personalizations, including product and stakeholder personalizations, and how they can be incorporated with automated events.

Integrating Personalizations into Membrain

Personalizations are dynamic placeholders inserted into your emails, automated messages, or tasks, which are replaced with real data when your communication is dispatched or your task is created by an automated event. By including specific recipient details, like their name, company, role, and more, personalizations can significantly increase engagement and make your messages more personalized and effective. To include personalizations in Membrain, you initiate the process by drafting an email or task. You'll notice a 'personalization' button, symbolized by the ‘@' symbol, which, when clicked, displays a dropdown menu with numerous personalization options. By selecting the suitable one, the system will insert a placeholder in your draft, which is replaced with the actual information when you send the message or your task is generated.

Previewing Personalizations

To help you see exactly what your email will look like before it's sent, Membrain offers a preview mode. By clicking on the eye icon next to your draft, you can access the preview mode and view your message with the personalizations replaced with actual data.

Product Personalizations

Product Personalizations allow you to add specific product information into your communication. The available personalizations include Product Name, Product Table, and Product Value (Total Revenue). These can be incorporated in tasks, internal and external emails, and messages to guide, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. This adds a product-centric element to your messages, whether you're discussing individual product specifications or entire product tables with your contacts.

Stakeholder Personalizations

Stakeholder Personalizations provide you with the ability to customize your messages based on your stakeholder's individual roles and properties. The various personalizations include Stakeholder Name, Stakeholder Company, Stakeholder Title, Stakeholder Email, Stakeholder Phone, and Stakeholder Mobile Phone.

All existing stakeholder roles are recognized by the system and are displayed in the draft as a green placeholder, but the actual stakeholder data is shown in the preview mode and when activities are created.

Changes to stakeholder roles in your CRM are automatically accounted for by the system, and when there's more than one contact assigned to a particular role, they are displayed separately, separated by a comma. If a stakeholder property is not assigned a value, a dash is displayed to maintain clarity in your communications. You can employ Stakeholder Personalizations in Email Composer, Snippets (in Note, Call, Task), Mail Templates, Automations, Process Steps, and Process Event Actions.

Using Personalizations in Process Events

As you design your process events, Membrain allows you to utilize personalizations effectively. Suppose you're setting up an automated task, drafting a guide message, or configuring messages to Slack or Microsoft Teams. In that case, you can incorporate relevant personalizations to tailor the information based on the recipient's details. Similarly, you can add a personal touch to your internal or external emails, making them more engaging and client-centric.

This flexibility extends to Automations as well. With the ability to insert personalizations, your automations can communicate more effectively, increasing the impact of each interaction.

Conclusion

In a nutshell, personalizations in Membrain are integral to creating personalized, engaging, and effective communication. By using the power of project, product and stakeholder personalizations in tasks, messages, and automated events, you can ensure each interaction with your clients is as impactful and relevant as possible.
