In Membrain, ticket permissions and access levels are crucial for managing user access to various Products, Extensions, and functionalities. This article will guide you through the different levels of ticket access, how they are granted, and the available combinations of licenses.
To grant ticket permissions to a user, follow the steps detailed in our article on permissions here. Once permissions are granted, users will gain access to tickets, and the corresponding billing will be applied based on their license type. Admin users have default access to tickets at no extra charge.
Full users have comprehensive access to as many parts of Membrain as you wish. If a full user requires access to the ticket Product Extension, this access comes at an additional cost.
Lite users have limited access to Membrain capabilities but can access the ticket Product Extension without any additional charge. This allows lite users to view and manage tickets while maintaining their restricted access to other parts of Membrain.
A ticket-only user has exclusive access to the ticket Product Extension and does not have access to other Product Extensions within Membrain. This type of user is ideal for those who need to focus solely on ticket management.
By understanding and correctly setting ticket permissions, you can ensure that users have appropriate access based on their roles and responsibilities within your organization.
