The Engagement Matrix is a powerful feature designed to streamline and enhance your understanding of how your team interacts with stakeholders and activities on a project in general. It displays the actions taken, who is participating, and when these actions occurred. It also highlights how much interaction there is with stakeholders. This comprehensive view aids in gaining deeper insights, allowing for informed decision-making regarding project progression and stakeholder interaction strategies.
The Engagement Matrix can easily be found directly underneath the process or can be quickly accessed by pressing "e" on the keyboard.
Starting from left to right, the first component you will find is the Stakeholder. It lists all stakeholders that have any kind of activity related to the project currently under review.
Next up is the Timeline, which shows different activities that have been carried out as well as the points in time when various stages of the project were reached. It covers a wide range of activities, including notes, tasks, emails, phone calls, and appointments. It also provides you with the start date and the close/archive date of the project.

Adjacent to the timeline is Time Spent, which displays the total amount of time your team has dedicated to activities in relation to the project.
The Number of Activities section indicates the total count of activities carried out in relation to the project.
Next is Activity With which showcases the Membrain users who were involved in the activities with the stakeholders.
Finally, Activity shows when the last activity was carried out with a specific stakeholder.
On the timeline, various activities will be represented visually. Notes, tasks, as well as phone calls, appear as blue dots, while appointments are shown in green.
The size of these circles provides additional insight into your team's activity. The more activities completed in a closer time span, the larger the circle. For instance, if you carry out one activity on one day, you will see a small circle. However, if your team logs 5 notes/calls in a day, the corresponding circle will be significantly larger. The same principle applies to appointments.
The Engagement Matrix is a dynamic tool that provides valuable insights into your team's interactions with stakeholders. It's intuitive, visually engaging, and offers valuable data to help drive your strategic decisions. So next time you're navigating Membrain, be sure to leverage the power of the Engagement Matrix.
