Brand Center

It is possible to customize your Membrain instance using your own Company's branding, giving your team and the contacts you interact with via Membrain a more professional experience.

Brand Center

To set up your Membrain account with custom branding, follow these steps:

1. From the left side menu, click on the cogwheel icon to access the System Setup area of Membrain.
2. Scroll down to Settings > General and click on Brand Center.
   
   
3. From here the Brand Center is broken up into three parts Logo, Login Screen, Email and Email Signature.

Logo Setup

Once added, your company brand logo will be visible in the following areas of Membrain:

• Login screen
• Membrain Meet page as seen by your contacts
• Tasks page sent to non Membrain users
• Calendar invitations and any updates or cancellations related to these sent to your contacts
• Product Quotes sent to customers
• Membrain Forms

To set up your company brand logo:

1. Go to the Brand Center and click on the Logo tab.
   
   
2. Choose a file from your local PC and preview the image in the pane to the right.
3. Click Save.

Images should be:
- File size 300 x 40 px
- Transparent
- File types supported are .png .gif and .jpg

Login Screen Setup

In this section, you can set up what your login screen will look like for your users. 

1. To start off, you can upload a file you wish to use as a background image from your computer.
2. Then select if you want the image to repeat or if it should only be shown the one time. 
3. Determine the positioning of the background image
4. Choose if you want the image to be auto-sized or if it should cover or be contained in the page. 

Brand Colors

In the Brand Colors tab, you can define up to 10 brand colors by adding HEX color codes. These colors are then available for use in areas like quote templates, supporting a consistent visual identity across customer-facing documents.

To set brand colors:

1. Click Add Color

2. Enter a HEX code (the default will start as black)

3. Click Save

Brand Images

In the Brand Images tab, you can upload up to 10 custom images that become available in the image picker across Membrain. These images can be used in features like the Content Hub and Elevate, making it easy for teams to stay on-brand when adding visuals to content.

Email Setup

In this section you can set up some email defaults for your users including Fonts, Font Size, and Email Style Templates. 

Centralized Email Signature

In addition to customizing your logo and login screen, you can now set up a centralized email signature for all users in your Membrain instance. This ensures a consistent and professional look for all emails sent through Membrain. When this centralized email signature is enabled, individual personal email signatures will be overridden.

1. Within the Brand Center, select the Email Signature tab.
2. Here, you can create and customize a centralized email signature using rich text and personalization options.
   
   
3. You can also add a portrait to the email signature by inserting portrait properties. The profile picture attached to your user account in Membrain is the portrait that will be used. 
   
   

Email Signature Footers

Email Signature Footers can be added to either personal or centralized email signatures, providing flexibility for different teams or purposes. Only one footer will be appended to an email, based on the following criteria:

1. Email Signature Footers are sorted by priority. The first applicable footer for a specific user or team will be used.
2. If a user has a personal signature, the footer will be appended after the personal signature. For centralized email signatures, the footer will appear after the centralized signature.
   
   

Impact on User Settings

Using a centralized email signature and/or footer signature will affect the My Settings > Email section of your users. Users will be notified when footers are being used and when the centralized signature is enabled by the admin. This ensures everyone is aware of the standardized email format being applied.

Quotes

Under the Quotes tab, you can now define a default quote style template. By selecting a default template from the dropdown menu, every new quote created will automatically use that style.

If no template is selected, quotes will default to a plain layout. You can change the selected template at any time by revisiting the Quotes tab and saving your new preference.

Troubleshooting

If you don't have a marketing company at hand to provide you with your Company Logo within the limits described above, it can be tricky to get the logo to look well without being skewed out of shape.

You may need to edit or resize your Logo using image editing software and test a number of times before it looks correct.
